Performance and Protection. You want both. Your deserve both. There is no reason to compromise in either direction. Boeri has been refining it’s Helmet line for 36 years in order to bring you product that delivers the pinnacle of Performance AND Protection.

Performance
You don’t want to use a product that will hamper your performance level, and there is no need to. Using a Boeri helmet while skiing or snowboarding does not impede with hearing and does not obstruct your vision. Wearing a Boeri helmet while skiing or snowboarding does not make you Tommy Moe, but it will reduce the chances of head injury if you crash and burn like a champ. Boeri Helmets are designed for added protection in the case of such undesirable incidences, and they also offer other benefits. Wearing a helmet on the slopes can be a much different experience than wearing a hat. What you may not realize is that Boeri Helmets keep your head warmer than any hat. The outer shell acts like a weather shield that repels the winter nasties like wind, snow, rain, and sleet. Your goggles will resist fogging! Since there is no heat/condensation leaving you head, moisture will not collect on the inside of the goggles causing them to fog. Not to mention, Boeri Helmets are lightweight and trim to fit with many other added benefits.

See the performance for yourself. Try a Boeri helmet at anyone of our test centers nationwide and see what you’ve been missing.

Protection
Skiing and snowboarding are sports where your own skill and expertise count run after run. Sometimes that sneaky snow snake or other unforeseen conditions get the better of us and we bail. Boeri ski and snowboarding helmets are on your side. Wearing a helmet decreases your chance of serious injury if you smack your head. Boeri Helmets exceed the European CE (UNI 1077, UNI EN 812) standards, and/or the CSI-FISI standard which is currently being referenced by the International Federation of Ski and Snowboard Racing (F.I.S.) The United States ski and snowboard helmet standard issue has gained much publicity over the past year. As these standards begin to present themselves over the course of the 1998/99 snowsport season, keep in mind a couple of key components that we look for in a helmet: lightweight, comfortable, ample protection. Boeri will continue to address standardization issues, and most importantly continue to produce high quality product that are users expect.

Boeri Helmets boast a polycarbonate outer shell and impact absorbing expanded polystyrene inner liner. The tough polycarbonate outer shell will absorb initial impact and deflects puncture or abrasion (ski poles tips, tree limbs, ski and snowboard edges, rocks, the list goes on). The expanded polystyrene inner liner is the impact-absorbing zone.

Don’t Forget! You have to be careful when you are out there on the slopes. Keep your eyes out, stay alert, and to follow the skiers’ responsibility code. Resort slopes are often analogous to our roads & highways (especially here in Boston!); you may be an excellent driver, it’s the crazy guy that you need to look out for.
